A New Reason To Record!

Fellow Reason users!!! The moment we've been waiting for is finally here! And I must say, its about goddamn time! The fellas over at Propellerhead have finally answered the cries of their faithful users. Do you know how many times I've made a beat in Reason, dreading the fact that I had to sit there and export all these stems, so I could record vocals...simple because you couldn't record vocals in Reason. I had to use Logic or Garage Band even. (Cringing at the thought) Now you can record instruments, via DI, and vocals with their new program RECORD. Record works with reason and brings you a full 64 channel mixer with unlimited tracks. YES! I said it. Unlimited! Below I have included a video, explanning all the specs and additions to this God Sent Program. Now i just gotta wait til September. Oh by the way, this onslaught will be available for a measly $300. You can also buy it couple with reason for only $629. Current Reason users can get the upgrade for only $150. I can hardly wait!

Who's Playing?!

Hello everyone! Let's start off by letting you know who we are. We are the Playground. The Playground is a group of friends that decided to combine there talents to form an artist collective. Currently it is composed of:

True Theory

K0- lition

MicProdigy (myspace coming soon).

Ok, that takes care of the musical acts.

Up next we have Lorisse Bentine, who
has also written and directed her own play which she is looking to perform sometime in March 2010. Currently, she is working on a show called Micanvas, which unites visual art and poetry, with a little bit of music sprinkled on top. The show is slated for July 19th at Culturarte (Dominican Arts Center) in Harlem. More info to follow.

Rounding out the team is Christiane Thomas. She is the nucleus of the squad, providing support where ever needed. She is a graphic artist (designed our lovely logo!) and also dables in writting.

So there you have it! Stay tuned for music, video, and show updates from The Playground
